Samarinda staff, residents, their families, volunteers and community members all joined together for a morning tea on Tuesday 14th May to show its support on a national day of action to show that we care for aged care.
Samarinda was fortunate to have Mr Sean Rooney, the CEO of Leading Age Services Australia (LASA) attend as our special guest. Sean spoke to the audience about the importance of aged care and how our political parties need to commit to making the aged care system better.
