On Wednesday 7th August Samarinda staff, volunteers, clients, residents and their families celebrated Aged Care Employee Day 2019.
The event was well attended with over 100 people enjoying presentations from staff and from special guest Federal Member for Higgins, Katie Allen. Katie spoke of her very positive personal experience with the aged care staff who cared for her father. Attendees also enjoyed delicious finger food and afternoon tea.
Samarinda was proud to be involved in this official day to thank, honour, recognise and celebrate the hundreds of thousands of people who work in the aged care industry across Australia.
