At a Christmas In July luncheon on Wednesday 11th July held in Samarinda’s Community Centre hall, Samarinda Ashburton Aged Services was presented with a cheque for $66,000 by the Bendigo Bank Canterbury, Ashburton, Surrey Hills and Balwyn Community Bank branches.
This generous sponsorship will be used to assist Samarinda to purchase a new bus so that we can provide transport to local community members to and from the Community Centre and also to take more persons on outings.
